Initially there was a rumour that Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan will be doing an item number in the film.
Also it was announced in September 2006 that the Chelsea football team will be part of the film. Some filming took place in Stamford Bridge stadium, home to Chelsea football club.
One notable fact of this movie is that for the first time Abhishek Bachchan and Bobby Deol have worked together. Their fathers (Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra) worked together in the hit blogbuster movie Sholay (1975).
