Australia is a forthcoming adventure-drama starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman in pivot roles. The film is written and directed by Baz Luhrmann. The shooting of the movie took place in Sydney, Darwin, Kununurra and Bowen. Firstly Russell Crowe was chosen for the main star of the film but finally he was replaced with the actor Hugh Jackman. 20th Century Fox will distribute the film on 13 November, 2008 in Australia and on 14 November, 2008 in the United States and will roll out worldwide throughout December.
