According to Sonu Sood “It was a huge responsibility to play Prem as it is a household name due to legendary movies like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun… I’ve given Prem my own tough”.
Isha Koppikar also told about the film that “I still remember my first narration. I was sobbing & sobbing. The honesty, with which Kaushik Dada narrated, touched me. I like to believe that it is God’s greatest gift to me.”

Synopsis :

Prem hails from a rich business family. He is an unconventional ghazal singer full of mischief and pranks...
Life is picture perfect… until, on the day of their engagement Chandni’s father passes away... suddenly she becomes the eldest in her family. On one hand, her 'mehendi' adorned hands are beckoning her to the dream home for her fiance and on the other hand are her younger siblings, whom she cannot take along with her. Chandni decides not to marry so that she can bring up her little brother and sister with self-respect.
Prem understand her and stands by her through thick and thin as she goes through her struggle. He unconditionally waits for Chandni for 12 long years until she fulfills all her responsibilities as an elder sister.
